In some parts of the world, the hard courts are chosen over clay surface due to costs of clay are being more expensive. And in clay surface, red clay is normally used by the beginners, because the surface tends to be slower, therefore rookie players have more time to react are easier to pick up those shots. Playing on clay requires strength and endurance. Rallies from the baseline often happen due to its slower speed and players with good stamina often help them to win the match. Green clay is faster than the red clay therefore it has a higher bounce than red clay. It is not so common in the ATP tennis tour because it is mainly very expensive than the red clay.

3.) Grass- It is the fastest of all surfaces – The most famous tournament is the Wimbledon Open at London. Because of its fast speed, players with hard serving will tend to produce more aces, or maybe a return and then a volley.
