When I start to plan a review one of the hardest things I find is how to start. When you have looked at as many systems as I have it can be quite difficult to decide where to begin. Let’s face it I don’t want to make it boring (which I feel I may have already done) but then again I don’t want to get to excited and make you think I have had a drink or something before I started writing.

So I guess the best thing to do is get straight to it and let you know what I think.

I have reviewed a couple of Paul Fowlie systems Curse of the handicapper” which I don’t think is any longer available and “lay the place” which I felt had room for improvements, so I was unsure what I would think of Stat Attack.

When testing systems now day’s I want to make sure that you can run the systems on the Grey Horse Bot as this means it is an automatic process and we don’t have to get involved with waiting around to bet so I am pleased to report that Stat Attack works fine with this bot.

Stat Attack is actually 3 systems in 1. All 3 are easy to use and if you combine them which is what the author has done, then you should end up with a few selections everyday. We found we were getting between 5 to 7 and generally getting matches on quite a few if not all

I must admit that each system seems to be well thought out but I wonder if it is the combination of the 3 that makes everything profitable and I think later on we may do a test on individual systems. But for this test we just selected all of them and then added the selections into the Grey Horse Bot.

Paul doesn’t recommend any staking plans and I don’t think you really need to worry about using one. We found most of our losers came in 4 or under although we did have a couple of just over 5. Two of the systems have a limit of 6/1 (7.0) and the other 7/1 (8.0) so it was good to see we didn’t have any losers that high in fact most of the bets that were matched were less than these limits.

Between the 01 of April and the 29th of May 2009 we had 300 selections from Stat Attack. A number of these ended up being no bets but overall we made 55pts, 29.78pts in April and 24.37pts in May.

We had a lot of good days and of course we had days when we lost. Our worse losing run was about 11pts so keep this in mind when deciding your stakes I think as with all lay systems you should stake a maxim of 5% of your bank and less if you don’t like risk.

If you had a £1000 bank and staked 10% (£100 per bet) then you would have lost your entire bank in our test. This is a little unfair because the loss occurred almost half way through testing so our bank had grown enough to handle the loss but it could have just as easily happened at the start of our testing and shows it is important to have all the facts.

At the same time we had a few really good winning runs 18, 16, 12 and 9 were recorded and then there were plenty of runs of 3, 4 and 5’s.

If you had used 5% of your bank you would have been betting £50 and lost £550 during that small losing run which would allow you to keep betting and you would have ended up with another £2291.50 over the 2 months period. Which after 5% BF commission it would have been £1876.50 which is not a bad return on your investment.

When ever I write a review of a system I also do a search on the net to see what other people are saying and if their figures seem to agree with ours.

The good thing is I am normally the last to write a review so I can normally find reviews from serious testers who are not just interested in promoting the system for the commission.

I hope that this waiting means you get a much better idea if the system looks profitable or not, I also think that when everyone suddenly starts using the same system then it can effect prices and of course profitability so if you wait for all the fuss to die down and then get on board you normally find the system is working more as intended.

I think pts wise we have actually done better than some testers but worse than others but because we have live tested our results with the Grey Horse Bot. I think our results could be the most accurate available for Stat attack.

But I think it also shows that at totally different testing times we have all generated a profit from Paul’s systems.

I am sorry we didn’t report the profit of each individual system but at the same time our goal was to show if Stat Attack was profitable or not using the system as intended.

I have put a spread sheet together with our selections and our results which you can download here:

I have also shown how with a little change in stake you can add another £700 profit after commission.

GHB subscribers can get a discount on Stat Attack.

I hope you enjoyed this review you can read more about Stat Attack here.
